Welcome to Guard Dog Kennel! We are located in Colorado. Our goal
is breeding for great temperment, a great looking dog, good health, protection and GUARD DOG, size and most important a great
family pet. Our dogs come first that is why we only breed our females about once every two years so they do not get
over bred which makes for healthier pups. We also limit our litters so we are able to give each puppy the special attention
they need. We specialize in breeding Colorado Bulldogs and American Pit Bull Terriers. Check out

The Colorado Bulldog is a very large breed. Males ranging from 100-140lbs.
Females ranging from 80-120lbs. They were breed to combine the size and strength of the American Bulldog with the protectiveness
and agility of the American Pitbull Terrier or American Staffordshire. The Colorado Bulldog has been bred for many years but
received its name only 20 years ago. They are registered through ARF and CKC.

The American Pitbull Terrier was brought to the Unites States in the mid - 1800's by Boston-Irish immigrants. Originally
bred from a variety of bulldogs and terriers, American breeders increased his weight and gave him a more powerful head. A
forbearer to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, they were originally bred to be a fighting dog. Bull baiting was banned in England
in 1835 and these dogs are no longer bred to fight. There is some complication in registries of this breed. The AKC considers
the American Staffordshire Terrier as separate and distinct from the American Pit Bull Terrier, yet the UKC will register
both as American Pit Bull Terriers (APBTs). Our American Pitbull Terrier consist of mostly Watchdog Bloodlines. They have
Generations of blue dogs. All of our dogs either throw all blue litters or have blue pups in the litter. They are registered
ADBA.
